Operations Manager

About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join a market-leader company in the transport and logistics field. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of this leading manufacturing, transport and logistics company. What you'll be doing Manage the overall operations of the business, including production, inventory, transportation and distribution Develop and implement operational strategies, policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity Oversee the work of supervisors and team leaders, providing guidance and support as needed Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and finance, to ensure seamless operations Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards and quality control measures Lead and motivate a team of dedicated operational staff Identify and implement innovative solutions to optimise workflows and drive continuous improvement What we're looking for Experience in a similar operations management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail Proficient in data analysis and the use of operational management software Thorough understanding of industry regulations, safety protocols and quality standards Tertiary qualification in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred not required Strong communication and stakeholder management skills What we offer At Grace we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
