Are you a sharp and collaborative Test Analyst passionate about ensuring software quality and adept at quickly understanding complex systems? We are seeking a Test Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions. About the Role: As a Test Analyst you will be instrumental in validating that our developed solutions meet critical business requirements through structured functional testing. In this role you'll be responsible for creating detailed test cases, executing tests, producing comprehensive test summary reports, and managing test cycles. Strong communication skills will be essential for collaborating with both business stakeholders and technical developers. We're looking for someone who can quickly get up to speed with our bespoke and complex applications and effectively communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough functional testing to validate changes against business requirements. Log, track, and collaborate with stakeholders for defect resolution. Document test cases and test results effectively, and maintain regression packs with reusable test cases. Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, and communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes. Provide timely updates on test case execution status, summary of test results, coverage achieved, and outstanding defects or risks for go-live. What we are looking for: Proven experience creating test plans and test summary reports (essential) Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with both business and technical teams. Be able to demonstrate critical thinking in your work Strong expertise in functional testing, especially on bespoke systems. Proficient in using JIRA or similar tools for test and defect management. Familiarity with Zephyr (JIRA add-on) is an advantage. Proficient in using Postman or similar tools for API testing, validation and troubleshooting. Adaptable with a proactive approach to continuous improvement. A solid foundational knowledge of core technology concepts (e.g., APIs, Swagger, Authentications, User Interfaces).
