Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme, gas and diesel plants, and contracted wind and solar energy. We also provide electricity and gas to over 1.5 million retail customers through our retail brands Red Energy and Lumo Energy. Snowy 2.0 is Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. About The Position The Workforce Transformation Data & Insights Analyst is a newly created position that is essential to Snowy’s future growth. The role has been long-anticipated in the organisation, and there is a genuine desire for it. There is a significant amount of work to be done in this space, so the successful candidate will have a real ability to make a difference and enhance capability maturity for Snowy and its workforce. Key Responsibilities Applying advanced analytics and data science techniques to workforce transformation Benchmarking Snowy Hydro’s employee experience and workforce planning against industry standards and best practices Designing and maintenance of scalable, automated reporting and dashboards Presenting data to senior stakeholders to improve the employee experience Shaping a data-informed culture within the Workforce Transformation function by contributing to training and sharing of knowledge About the location: This role is based in Sydney. About You You come from a data-driven background You have strong communication skills, both in person and presenting to groups, with the ability to make data concepts understandable You’ll bring experience using automated tools and dashboards (Tableau, Power BI or similar) A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Statistics, Data/Computer Science or a related field A demonstrated experience of modelling HR data from systems such as SAP Success Factors and familiarity with digital data sources such as survey tools (eg; Qualtrics) Strong analytical capabilities to identify trends and drive data-informed decisions.
