We are seeking to establish a pool of enthusiastic and innovative Mainstream Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2028. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period. The Role We are seeking highly motivated Mainstream Education Assistants to work collaboratively with our friendly and supportive team. As a highly valued member of our Primary School, you should value the importance of establishing and developing positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and caregivers. You will ideally possess an openness to change, display initiative and be solutions-focused; always ensuring you are providing the best learning opportunities for our students. Suitable applicants would work collaboratively with teachers to plan and implement engaging, challenging and purposeful learning programs that are inclusive of all students in their care. It will be highly regarded if you have high expectations and possess the mental model that every student can succeed and that every student is important. Suitable applicants would support the teacher to nurture students’ academic and social and emotional growth. Ideally, suitable applicants would display experience in supporting synthetic phonics, oral language, and social and emotional learning programs. Under the guidance of the teacher, you will assist in the delivery of planned educational programs, implement individual or small-group programs, and provide valuable feedback to support student learning, including working with students identified as being at educational risk. It is highly desirable that suitable applicants are self-reflective, welcome feedback and committed to ongoing growth in your practice.
