Senior Building Surveyor

We're partnering with a multi-disciplinary engineering & surveying consultancy to find an experienced Senior Building Surveyor who’s eager to take ownership of projects, mentor developing talent, and deliver excellence across a varied portfolio. My client is ideally looking for someone to be based at their site in Hull, but could also consider candidates in Leeds or York. What you’ll be doing: Leading and managing end-to-end surveying projects Carrying out detailed building inspections & producing clear reports Providing expert advice on building regulations, planning & compliance Guiding and supporting junior surveyors to grow their capability Working closely with clients, design teams & contractors Staying ahead of industry trends to ensure best practice delivery What we're looking for: Degree in Building Surveying (or related discipline) Post-qualification experience in building surveying MRICS or working towards chartership (preferred) Strong building pathology & defect diagnosis skills Confident communicator with excellent report-writing skills Natural leader with a passion for developing others Great benefits package on offer including a competitive basic salary, friendly working environment with lots of social events, company pension and flexible working options.
