Job Description

Our client is seeking a commercially astute HR Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract, supporting their flagship division. About the Role You'll be part of a wider HRBP team and partner with a client group of 400 employees, including a number of senior stakeholders reporting to the MD. This is a high-impact role requiring fast relationship-building, deep business understanding, and the ability to influence and shape strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities Build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and understand their business priorities Provide strategic and operational HR support across performance management, ER, and cyclical processes (e.g., pay and bonus reviews) Translate employment legislation into commercial conversations with senior leaders Lead and deliver central HR projects, such as leadership development and upskilling initiatives Partner with Centres of Excellence across recruitment, training, and reward Use talent frameworks (e.g., 9-box grid) to assess and develop talent in partnership with L&D What We're Looking For Proven experience as an HRBP in an agile envrionment, matrixed organisation Strong generalist HR knowledge with strategic and commercial acumen Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at senior levels Comfortable navigating change and contributing to transformation initiatives (e.g., AI adoption) Hands-on approach with a passion for offering value add HR Solutions Location : London Working Pattern : Hybrid - 3 days in-office Start December McGregor Boyall is an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on any grounds.
