Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced and driven Bid Writer to join their dynamic pre-construction team. The Role As the Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in shaping winning tender submissions and securing high-value construction projects. You will be responsible for producing compelling written content, coordinating bid information, and ensuring all submissions reflect the company’s capabilities, values, and strengths. Key Responsibilities Develop high-quality, persuasive bid responses and tender documents Work closely with technical teams, project managers, estimators, and the leadership team to gather accurate information Research and understand client requirements, industry standards, and project specifics Lead the bid writing process from initial review to final submission Review and proofread all bid content ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency Manage bid deadlines and coordinate contributions across departments Maintain and update a library of previous submissions and bid materials Support presentations, capability statements, and marketing content where needed The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Bid Writer within the construction, engineering, or related built-environment sectors Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills Strong attention to detail, with the ability to structure complex information clearly Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple deadlines Excellent organisational skills and a collaborative approach Strong research and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint What’s in It for You?
