Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are currently partnering with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Kent, who are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis. Our client are specialists in Designing, Costing and Managing Construction projects over a wide variety of sectors and clients across the South-East of England. This is a full-time position with a salary range of £50,000 to £70,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Providing both pre and post contract services, including budget estimates, measurements, valuing works on site and agreeing final account Acting on behalf of the employer, issuing payment notices, instructions, requests and statements Producing appropriate tender documentation to secure a robust response including reviewing design information, confirming tender lists and responding to queries Undertaking post contract administration duties including issuing all necessary instructions and certificates and processing interim payment applications Producing cost plans, feasibilities and optioneering & developing the cost management strategy and delivery Experience required: Ideally be a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) Previous experience on a variety of public sector works ranging from £500,000 to £30,000,000 Be able to demonstrate significant experience working within the Construction industry as a Quantity Surveyor for over 8 years Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Be well organised, efficient, using initiative and working to tight deadlines Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Rewards and Benefits: Investors in People Gold since 2018 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays Staff profit share bonus scheme Pension scheme Payment of professional fees Hybrid working Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30 pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
