Key Responsibilities of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems (approx. 50/50 split) Diagnose and repair faults—from sensors and drives to bearings, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, pneumatics and hydraulics Support root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes/CI actions Maintain safety, hygiene, and quality standards and accurate maintenance records Collaborate with operations/production and escalate complex issues appropriately About the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Time-served/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (e.g., C&G, HNC) 5 years in fast-paced, automated environments (FMCG, logistics, manufacturing, automotive, etc.) Confident with both disciplines: Electrical: PLC fault-finding (inputs/outputs), inverters/VSDs, servo motors, control panels, sensors, three-phase Mechanical: conveyors, chains, belts, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics/hydraulics Experience with PPM systems/CMMS and solid fault-finding methodology Desirables: HACCP L2/3, IOSH/NEBOSH; basic fabrication/welding skills Right to Work: Applicants must have RTW in the UK.
