Key Criteria: Start dates: March 2027 (Law & Non-Law Graduates), March 2028 (Non-Law Graduates only) Education requirements: Minimum AAB at A-Level (or equivalent), 2:1 degree (predicted or achieved) Eligibility: March 2027: Law grads ready for SQE in Spring 2026, or Non-Law grads with completed/ongoing PGDL March 2028: Non-Law grads starting PGDL by Spring 2026, then SQE in Spring 2027 Skills needed: Commercial awareness, adaptability, tech-savvy mindset, teamwork, commitment to law Finance seat: 1–2 finance department rotations expected Benefits: Excellent wellness, medical, travel and lifestyle benefits international secondments Training Structure Trainees complete four six-month rotations (‘seats’) across a range of departments. Each seat is structured to ensure you build strong foundations in law, with hands-on work and close mentorship from senior lawyers. As part of the contract, you’ll gain exposure to: Commercial and corporate law Finance (1–2 seats typically required) Litigation (either as a seat or through courses/legal clinics) Optional international or client secondments to broaden your legal and cultural understanding Throughout the two years, trainees are supported with structured feedback, guidance, and the opportunity to tailor their training experience to match career interests.
