Med/Surg RN Job Details Location: Stockbridge, GA 30281 (Greater Atlanta area) Assignment Length: 14 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/9/2026) Unit: Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) Unit – 4/2 Central, 20 rooms, average daily census of 18 Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:00) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1460-$1500 Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics with renal and acute medical conditions Charting System: Epic Scrub Colors: Navy, white, or combinations Floating: Required to similar Med/Surg units Weekends: Every other weekend required Call Requirements: None Registered Nurse Qualifications Current and active GA or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at submission) Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting BLS certification (American Heart Association required) Experience with renal patient care, HD cath management, and manual PD/PD cycler preferred Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication systems Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred Full compliance with onboarding and orientation requirements Med/Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg hospital setting Specialize in renal patient management, including HD cath, manual PD/PD cycler, and CKD/HTN emergencies Monitor and manage patients with sepsis, ETOH (CIWA), UTI, and other acute medical conditions Utilize Epic for electronic charting and Pyxis for medication administration Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, social services) Float to similar Med/Surg units as needed and maintain flexibility in assignments Work every other weekend and be available for major holidays as required Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment Apply now to join our healthcare team in Stockbridge, Georgia, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
