Technical Product Manager – Embedded Devices

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Technical Product Owner – Core Security Products to lead the technical definition, development, and evolution of our core hardware devices. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the architecture and roadmap of Verisure’s next-generation security solutions, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user experience. You will act as the technical reference for cross-functional teams and guide the full product lifecycle — from concept to market launch. Responsibilities Take technical ownership of the Core Security Products portfolio. Define technical specifications and product roadmaps, translating functional and non-functional requirements into detailed documentation. Coordinate cross-disciplinary development teams (electronics, firmware, mechanical), guiding them through design and problem resolution. Support cross-functional teams (QA, IT, Operations, Certification) during integration, validation, and regulatory phases. Manage the technical implications of strategic initiatives , ensuring alignment between business goals and engineering execution. Lead technical workshops to define and document new product architectures. Ensure that designs meet quality, cost, and time-to-market objectives. Support regulatory certification and compliance activities (CE, ETSI, FCC, etc.). Drive continuous improvement, technical innovation, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) best practices. Location Madrid, Spain Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering , or related field (MSc preferred). Minimum of 5 years’ experience in embedded product design and development. Proven experience in full-cycle product development — from concept to market adoption. Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications. Demonstrated capability to lead and coordinate technical teams . Strong product strategy vision with the ability to align technical and business objectives. Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and design optimization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Fluent in English and Spanish (minimum C1 level). Problem-solving mindset , proactive, dynamic, and adaptable to complex situations. High energy, positive attitude, and genuine passion for technology and innovation. Experience working in multinational and multicultural environments , with proven ability to build collaborative relationships. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and technical judgment. Detail-oriented , capable of anticipating challenges and identifying optimization opportunities. Collaborative leader who promotes teamwork and cross-functional alignment.
