GCP Platform Site Reliability Engineer

Overview For a prestigious manufacturing company in Barcelona, we are recruiting a Senior GCP Platform Site Reliability Engineer to support millions of customers worldwide. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain a multi‑cloud Kubernetes platform to support multiple domains and squads. Architect and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and Google Cloud Platform services. Collaborate with software teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of critical digital products. Automate CI/CD pipelines and adopt GitOps practices. Monitor and observe systems using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Mimir, and OpenTelemetry. Secure cloud networking and enforce security best practices. Qualifications Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) and CI/CD automation. Solid understanding of observability stacks and cloud networking. Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) is a plus.
