American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/15/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with ARRT and Wisconsin Radiographer certifications to perform routine and advanced imaging procedures across multiple locations. Responsibilities Position is based in a hospital setting and may require working at a minimum of two locations Day and evening 8-hour shifts primarily starting between 6:30 and 8:30 AM, with occasional other shifts based on operational needs Includes weekend rotation and associated call responsibilities Travelers are the first to float and may be scheduled in different units or locations depending on staffing needs Patient population includes both routine and emergent cases Equipment includes a variety of radiographic imaging equipment, computers, and detectors Perform a wide range of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures using various equipment and computing systems Set up the imaging room and employ proper isolation precautions as needed Participate in basic maintenance, repairs, QA processes, and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving Collaborate with staff to prioritize, organize schedules, and triage procedures Candidates must pass a telemetry exam with strict criteria prior to starting; up to two attempts allowed before remedial action is required Approximately one week of orientation is provided, with schedule and location outlined in the welcome letter RTO requests are generally limited to two weeks per contract, with special rules for consecutive time off Locals are not accepted and first-time travelers are considered in some units Requirements Minimum of 2 years clinical CT imaging experience required Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer required Current ARRT (R) and (CT) certification required BLS certification from the American Heart Association required Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the primary work site location License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-636686.
