Company Snapshot Novel high viscosity 3D printhead technology – fully developed in-house 3D printing platform for our printhead – fully developed in-house 50 employees and growing International team in 2 locations (Berlin and Barcelona) Funded through VC investment Your profile We are currently looking for an ambitious and self motivated Senior Firmware Engineer to grow our technical team in the Barcelona office. As an addition to our in‑house development, you will help develop firmware for the next generation of 3D printers by collaborating with the electronics, software and mechanics teams. Qualifications 5 years of experience in the field of firmware development Proficiency in C/C++ Knowledge of microcontrollers and have experience developing FW (Bare metal) and embedded software Experience with Zephyr RTOS Desire to create clean, maintainable and testable code Hands on experience with protocols like UART, SPI, I2C Experience with HAL, DMA, Timers, Bootloaders, etc. Hands on experience with HW prototypes and bring up procedures Ability to use measurement tools like Oscilloscope, Signal Generators, Logic Analyzer Basic understanding of electronics and ability to read schematics The ability of being proactive within the team A secret passion for reading datasheets Willingness to travel to our office in Berlin (especially during the onboarding phase) English proficiency It’s good to have Knowledge of GIT Experience with build systems (make, cmake) Hands on experience with STM32 Benefits A truly open-minded and supportive work environment with a high level of employee empowerment Flexible working hours Opportunities for training, development, and trade show attendance An international team that enthusiastically implements new ideas Opportunity to help shape policies for future mechanical development at Quantica Working in an inspiring environment of a think tank, workshop, laboratory, collaborating with distributed colleagues Free snacks, coffee and tea Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage About Us Quantica is an additive manufacturing technology company that has developed its own printhead technology.
