Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Corporate Office Building Location: Knightsbridge, London Salary: £45,000 per annum Benefits Hours: Monday–Friday, Split Shifts (7am–4pm / 9am–6pm) Callout: 1 in 3 weeks (£100 per week allowance) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a small, dedicated engineering team based within a prestigious corporate office building in Knightsbridge, London. Working as part of a close-knit team (2 Engineers 1 Supervisor), you will be responsible for ensuring all mechanical systems and building services operate efficiently and reliably, providing a first-class environment for staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all mechanical systems. * Maintain and service HVAC systems, pumps, valves, boilers, and associated plant equipment. * Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure all work meets current safety and compliance standards. * Support with building inspections and liaise with contractors and suppliers as required. * Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks) to provide out-of-hours support. Skills & Experience * Recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent). * Proven experience in a commercial building or corporate environment. * Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and general building services. * Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills. * Team player with a professional and customer-focused approach.
