Senior Sales Manager Job – Sponsorship Sales – Northeast London Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 uncapped commission 25 Days Holiday Healthcare Senior Sales Manager job for one of the UK’s leading and multi-award winning exhibition and publishing companies. You will be joining their consumer lifestyle portfolio and leading from the front, selling sponsorship, exhibition space and digital solutions. Targeting a wide range of companies from the lifestyle, technology, entertainment, retail, home décor, gifting and food & drink markets. Currently a team of just over 100, they have recently won an Employer of The Year award and have won multiple awards for their shows, they are renowned for delivering exciting and engaging shows, attracting over £2m visitors every year across their leading portfolio. They entertain, inspire, inform and connect with consumers and businesses. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and fun team, playing a key part in the successful delivery of their renowned shows. About the role: - Achieve revenue target across exhibition space, sponsorship packages and digital solutions across the portfolio - Split between new business and account management / rebooks - Manage weekly and monthly sales pipeline - Meet monthly KPIs - Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss updates, floorplan management, pipelines and forecasts - Contribute to ideas for new revenue streams and pitches - Develop existing client base and spend - Lead generation through attendance of competitor events and online platforms - Create and present client proposals - Communicate with sales, sponsorship, marketing, editorial, operations, show management and credit control - Liaise with finance to ensure all contract deals are finalised - Attendance of all live shows in your portfolio - Client account management from sale to post-event - Mentor more junior sales team members. The ideal candidate: - 5 years’ experience in event sponsorship sales (consumer or B2B) - New business hunter and account manager - Commercially astute - Demonstrable track record of meeting revenue targets for large-scale events - Confidence to pitch to C-Suite level - Experience in creating tailored proposals / sponsorship packages - Willingness to mentor / manage other sales team members - Ability to attend portfolio and competitor events and meet with clients when required - Passion for lifestyle brands would be advantageous.
