Job Duties: Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all on-site construction activities Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and tradespeople Monitor progress and quality of work on site Assist in resolving any issues or delays that may arise during construction Maintain accurate records of construction activities Communicate effectively with the Site Manager, contractors, and other stakeholders Required Qualifications: Valid SMSTS certification CSCS card First Aid certification Valid Driving Licence Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Site Manager on new build housing sites. Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of new build housing construction Knowledge of timber or traditional construction methods Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure Working Conditions: Work on construction sites, exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
