Interim Head of Finance – Manufacturing & Distribution East Yorkshire (Hybrid) £80,000 – £90,000 Benefits 12–18 Month Contract A rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution business in East Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Finance to support the next phase of its journey. With continued organic growth, new product streams and active M&A activity, this is a pivotal role within a high-performing finance function. This assignment requires a hands-on, technically strong finance leader who can bring structure, rigour and pace to a business scaling quickly. Key Responsibilities Lead all statutory reporting, audit preparation and year-end processes Own financial controls, governance and balance sheet integrity across the group Oversee production of accurate monthly and weekly reporting, ensuring data quality and insight Support integration workstreams relating to M&A, systems and process improvements Provide strong leadership to the finance team, upskilling and embedding best practice Partner with the SLT to improve financial visibility, cash flow forecasting and operational reporting Drive continuous improvement across controls, reconciliations, and reporting processes The Ideal Candidate Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong technical grounding Proven experience in a manufacturing / distribution environment A track record of improving financial control environments in fast-paced, changing businesses Hands-on, detail-driven, with the ability to lead and shape a finance team Prior involvement in M&A, integrations or finance transformation is highly desirable Able to operate at both strategic and operational levels
