Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a well-supported Maths Department at a secondary school in Newham. This exciting opportunity is open to both NQTs (Newly Qualified Teachers) and experienced educators. The role will focus on Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Contract Details · Location: Newham · Position: Maths Teacher · Type of Work: Maths Teacher · Contract or Position Start Date: 05/01/2026 · Duration / Likely Duration: Until the end of the academic year · Contract or Position End Date (if applicable): Ongoing · Contract Type: Long term / Temp to Perm · Full Time / Part Time: Full Time · Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP176 per day (minimum) · Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, plus parents evenings Experience, Training and Qualifications · QTS or equivalent · Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK · Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must: · Hold Right to Work in the UK · Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application · Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last 2 years Other Information If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
