Chief Accountant (m/f/d)

Responsibilities Supervision of general accounting and monthly and year‑end closings, balance sheet account reconciliation; Weekly and monthly reporting to HQ (sales, cash flow, P&L and closing balance sheet); Preparation of statutory financial statements according to Italian GAAP, including Notes to the Financial Statements and Management Report; operational support for corporate compliance (Board and Shareholders' meeting minutes); Management of relationships with auditors, tax consultants, and external authorities; Oversight of tax deadlines and compliance obligations; Operational coordination of the administrative team (3 people); Support to the Finance Manager in monthly reporting and project‑based activities; Treasury management; Inventory accounting for statutory and tax purposes; Fixed asset management; Monitoring of customer contracts and calculation of sales‑based bonuses; Monitoring supplier contracts; Management of professional compensation certifications; Insurance management; Contribution to the optimisation and digitalisation of administrative processes. Qualifications Degree in Economics or equivalent; At least 3 years of experience in an auditing firm; Good English for communication with HQ; At least 3 years of experience in administration and statutory reporting in industrial settings; Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC) and expertise in preparing statutory financial statements; Excellent Excel; Ability to gain team trust, support the team technically and guide them through change; Hands‑on and pragmatic approach; Willingness to share knowledge and best practices into the team and cross functions; Enthusiasm, positive energy and natural team integration; Problem‑solving capabilities and adaptability are really appreciated.
