Head of Operations – NW/ North Wales– Diagnostics About the Company: We are looking for a highly experienced Operations Manager with a history of managing cross functional teams to join a leading company and their expanding site in the Northwest/ North Wales area. This is a site-based role. Responsibilities: Strategy development and execution. Oversee technical support for manufacturing. Build and develop a high-performing Operations team . Ensure full compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, MHRA , and support audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions. Lead and contribute to technical projects. Act as a key technical partner across Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and external stakeholders. Manage budgets, resources, and operational planning to maintain efficiency, quality, and delivery performance. Lead robust root cause investigations and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions. Champion a proactive Environmental, Health & Safety culture across the team. Requirements: Degree in Life Sciences or related. Significant experience in diagnostics, biotechnology or biopharmaceutical manufacturing technical support. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams. A good knowledge of immunoassays. Experience in continuous improvement, process validation and technical transfer.
