Contract Programme Manager (Defence) Location: Dorset (minimum 3 days per week) Clearance: DV required (please do no apply unless you have an active DV Clearance) Rate: Competitive Duration: 6 months initially We are seeking a highly experienced Programme Manager to lead a complex defence programme from inception through to delivery. This is a critical role requiring someone who thrives under pressure and can turn challenging situations around. Key Responsibilities: Establish governance, working practices, and procedures from scratch. Manage complex programmes and difficult stakeholders effectively. Deliver clear, honest communication, even when the message is tough. Drive planning, scoping, and risk management to ensure successful delivery. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in Defence or similar high-security environments. A track record of troubleshooting and rescuing struggling programmes. Strong leadership and people management skills. Confidence to push back when necessary and keep delivery on track.
