TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Windsor, Vermont, 05089! Pay Information $2,402 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years recent Med Surg Rehab experience required; Charge RN experience required; Previous travel experience (at least 3 months) required License: Must provide active state license Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) Must-Have: BSN preferred; Must have own vehicle Description: Please do not upload a traveler for this assignment who would like to work in conjunction with another permanent placement or travel assignment. Please do not upload a traveler for this need who is going to request schedule accommodations (block scheduling, etc.). May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse. Coordinates total nursing care for patients. Participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 4/5. The average daily patient census is 22. Requested time off during this assignment must be noted and verified at the time of submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. For holiday coverage, travelers are required to work two of the following: Thanksgiving and the following Friday/weekend, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the following Friday/weekend, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the following Friday/weekend. Extensions requested to end in November or before the holiday starts in December will not be considered for an extension. Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this need. Candidates must have their own vehicle due to the small community being without public transport. Perm address must be included in the profile. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests made after the offer may lead to a rescinded offer. There is a call-off policy in place, where after three call-offs, a traveler's contract may be eligible for termination due to lack of attendance. Each call-off must be communicated to the unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance.
