Pay Information $2,058 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Experience in cardiac telemetry, IV therapy, and phlebotomy is essential. Ability to care for patients with cerebrovascular accidents and provide respiratory care is necessary. Description: The clinician will work primarily in Intermediate Care but may float to Intensive Care as needed. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. Every other weekend and holiday rotations are required. The clinician may be required to float to medical-surgical units if necessary. Scrubs must be provided in a specified color. This facility mandates that all employees receive the flu vaccine. Candidates must have the ability to manage various medical procedures and care for patients with complex health needs. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as physical therapy and social services. Experience in caring for adult and geriatric patients is preferred. Candidates must have strong skills in telemetry and the management of dysrhythmias. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Two supervisory references are required for this position.
