Location Treviso, ITA Key Responsibilities Develop and integrate AI‑driven techniques for image analysis, defect detection, data modeling, and signal processing in high‑tech applications for the Photonics Industry. Design and implement software solutions for machine vision systems and vision‑based inspection. Define experimental methods for performance evaluation (e.g., detection precision, algorithm repeatability, reproducibility, sensitivity, failure analysis). Perform hands‑on testing and debugging with vision systems to validate algorithms and ensure reliability. What We’re Looking For Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, AI & Automation Engineering, Cybersecurity, Physics, Mathematics, or similar. Strong theoretical background in machine vision, image processing, or software development. Knowledge of optics is a plus. Willingness to travel. Programming skills in C++, C# (other languages are a bonus). Soft skills: autonomy, teamwork, proactivity.
