This position is located at Kwajalein Atoll
Maintain accounting system project charging data, such as adding new projects, updating project period of performance, maintaining project work forces
Produce and distribute internal accounting system project cost and labor reports
Perform various reconciliations to include analysis of identified variances
Assist in developing financial controls, procedures, systems and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements.
Monitor progress of program requirements.
Monitor cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are met.
Act as a liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues. Interface with customers as required.
Monthly CDRL reporting and EAC development
Understanding the business accounting structure, disclosure statement, pools and rate application.
Ensure compliance with internal customer procedures, such as government acquisition regulations
Support contract data reporting requirements
Other duties as assigned
Excellent analytical skills, effective oral and written communication and ability to work with limited guidance
Must have good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Attention to detail
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred
Five or more years of experience in financial analysis or accounting
Experience with Government contracts a plus
Experience with financial accounting systems, database applications and Government accounting practices a plus
Experience working with CostPoint or other Deltek products a plus
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.
This position is unaccompanied.
Must be able to relocate to the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, which includes U.S. Citizenship or U.S. naturalization
Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
